Beginning in 2015, The Sontag Foundation provided over $3.1 million to address access to comprehensive oral health care for uninsured, underinsured, and indigent residents of NE Florida. During the five years of the program, thousands of individuals received comprehensive dental care through this innovative service model.
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, The Sontag Foundation established a $200,000 Patient Assistance Fund to provide emergency financial aid to brain tumor patients and their caregivers experiencing financial hardships. 370 patients from throughout the United States received $500 grants. "These funds were a life raft in a horrible storm. Thank you so much for your generous support. We are humbled by your work." A.F. (grant recipient).
